Commonwealth Senior Living is seeking a Staff Accountant to join it’s growing accounting team – the ideal candidate will be someone who is a great team player, flexible in regards to assigned duties, an excellent multi-tasker and preferably someone who has experience in working with A/P and A/R. Prior experience working in property management and/or senior living is a plus. Commonwealth Senior Living is seeking a Senior Vice President of Resident Care to provide the senior-most clinical leadership within the organization. This position has overall operational oversight of clinical and resident care, programs to support resident health and wellness, as well as outstanding regulatory compliance. The responsibilities will include the development and implementation of clinical strategy and thought leadership among the team of Regional Vice Presidents, Executive Directors, and Resident Care Directors. It’s Our Responsibility - We Take Ownership and Add Value - We are Respectful Clinical Operations and Oversight: - Directing the proper procedures for resident care from the basics of personal care, ADLs, and support to clinical nursing care. - Develop guidelines and oversight for outside contracts and vendors to ensure adequate care is provided to residents. - Collaborate with Medical Directors and outside medical providers to ensure quality care is delivered and measured along with continuous quality improvement. - Monitor care through hands-on leadership in the communities along with the resource team to ensure programs are delivered in a manner consistent with our brand’s promise. - Monitors assessments, support plans, and processes to ensure delivery of care is organized and carried out in accordance with approved policies and procedures. Oversight and Management of Clinical and Resident Care Education Programs: - Clinical Nurse Training Program - Mentoring Program – monitoring and compliance - Regular oversight of the Resident Care Center of Excellence training program. - Medication Associate Training Program and the monitoring of compliance of medication associate observation and accurate and timely documentation of such training. - Provide direction and curriculum as needed for monthly trainings for direct care— setting a yearly vision for topics related to strategic initiatives. Administrative Oversight and Guidance for the Clinical and Resident Care Department: - Support the strategic, financial, and occupancy performance and goals of the company including all levels of service. - Monitor key areas of performance to assure clinical excellence, to include: fall rates, medication management, complaints, reportable incidents, and infection control. - Leads the screening, hiring, and training of Resident Care Directors (RCD) and Assistant Resident Care Directors (ARCD). - Responsible for chairing the following committees: - Pharmacy Program - QAPI – Quality Assurance Process Improvement - Nurse retention, Recruitment, and Career path - Critical assessment of nurse retention programs including formal training needs, and practicum mentoring programs to improve performance and retention. - Leads conversations proactively with Regional Vice Presidents and community leadership to determine areas for needed improvement. - Assist RVPs in operational improvement and adherence to staffing models and schedules. - Participates and advocates for vendor relationships with health care providers within each community. Sweet Memory Care Oversight: - Ensures the care team and the program managers work cohesively to build a program to deliver quality care, services, and company-branded programs. - Monitors incident reports through various support teams to ensure behavior monitoring, training, and follow-ups are completed timely and appropriately. - Monitors resident care from both a clinical as well as a personal care perspective for our residents per person-centered care philosophy. - Monitors and addresses care needs related to infection control and behavior management and interventions. - Works proactively with rehab team to monitor diets and training for staff in dining rooms to ensure proper diets are followed. - Monitors resident care from both a clinical as well as a personal care perspective to ensure residents are provided with person-centered care within our Signature Programs. - Monitors and addresses care needs related to infection control and behavior management and level of dementia and works with caregivers to provide appropriate care.
